Analytical Cnoidal Approach with Applications to Nonlinear Dynamical Systems

The field of nonlinear dynamics knows a rapid development in the last years. The nonlinear dynamics phenomena associated with mechanical, structural, civil, aeronautical, ocean, electrical, and control systems are strictly related to the analytical, computational and experimental methods. Topics as cnoidal method, perturbation method, symbolic analysis, dynamic stability, local and global methods, bifurcation, chaos, deterministic and random vibrations are waiting to be applied to multibody dynamics, robotics, fluid-solid interactions, system modeling and identification of systems with friction and damping, signal analysis, and measurement techniques.
The cnoidal method already proposed in the literature and presented within the thesis, will be further developed in a larger team, which would include PhD students who would work under my supervision.
A special attention will be addressed to finding the analytical solutions or exact solutions, where it is possible, for equations which govern the behavior of the strongly nonlinear dynamical systems that appear, for example, to nonlinear oscillators with additional nonlinear teams, nonstationary oscillators and multi-degree-of-freedom systems. This would also lead to increasing the scientific production published in journals from main international scientific flux.
